Management Team

 

Don Gauger, CEO

Mr. Gauger manages the day-to-day business activities of the company. He is an Information Technology professional with over 25 years of diverse Information Technology and managerial experience in Applications Development, Operations, Project Management, Business/Service Planning, Marketing/Sales and Emerging Technology Assessment for both Commercial and Government clients. He has owned and managed several successful companies as well as managed corporate organizations as Vice President, Global Information Systems for Citibank and Vice President, Information Technology for Automatic Data Processing. He holds a BBA in Operations Research and Information Systems. He has served on both the Global and US Board of Directors for School Interoperability Framework (SIF) Association.

Ralph Winnicker, COO

Mr. Winnicker manages the operations and services delivery activities of the Company. He has over 30 of years of experience building customer satisfaction and loyalty with a focus on quality and service improvement. Prior to joining ProActive School, Winnicker served as a Six Sigma Master Black Belt for ING Retirement Services in Somerset, N.J., where he was responsible for company-wide business process improvements. Before joining ING in 2008 by way of acquisition, Winnicker served six years as Senior Vice President and Quality Director for the Retirement Services Division of CitiStreet in East Brunswick, N.J., where he developed and directed the customer satisfaction and quality programs. For the eight years preceding CitiStreet, he was Vice President Corporate Quality and Vice President Global Business Relationships for Citigroup Inc., New York, N.Y., where he assisted with the development and launch of a global quality initiative, and managed a global customer relationship organization. Prior to Citigroup, Winnicker spent 10 years with Automatic Data Processing in Ann Arbor, Mich. and Jersey City, N.J., where he was responsible for sales, marketing, and customer service. Winnicker has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Wayne State University in Detroit, Mich. He holds certifications as a Six Sigma Black Belt, Master Process Improvement Facilitator and Six Sigma Master Black Belt. He has been a member of the American Society for Quality since 1999 and a Senior Member since 2003.

Gerald W. Ulan, CTO

Mr. Ulan directs the execution of technology strategy for technology service platforms, partnerships, and external relationships; builds and manages a top-flight technology team and oversees research and development, as well as project management. He provides visible leadership for the company within the technology community; anticipates and reacts to major technology changes to ensure the company leads in the competitive landscape; establishes technical standards and ensure adherence to them for services development and company operations. He is a senior Technologist with over fifteen years in Information Technology background. He has served in many senior technical positions with CitiBank, Data General, AINS, and other corporations.

Len Pearson, EVP Marketing/Sales

Mr. Pearson manages all marketing and sales activities of the company. He has been responsible for the growth and development of numerous Information Technology and service related businesses over his career.

Philip F. Finelli, Jr., EVP Strategic Planning

Mr. Finelli manages all strategic planning activities of the company. He has been responsible for the growth and development of numerous Information Technology and service related businesses. For over 25 years, he has acted as a counsel and business advisor to a select group of corporations. He received his BA from Saint Francis University and his JD from the University of Baltimore.

Charles Sarich, VP Account Management

Mr. Sarich manages all post-sales client activities for the Company. He has over twenty-five years of business experience and has worked with a number of successful start-up companies. Mr. Sarich taught at both Maret School in Washington, D.C. and Flint Hill in Virginia. He also worked for a financial services firm where he was actively involved in evaluating and assisting companies in financial planning and service management. Mr. Sarich holds both a B.A. and M.B.A. from American University in Washington, D.C.

Anthony Colon, Senior Education Advisor

Mr. Colon has served on the board of directors for several national organizations, including: Alliance for School Choice; American Board for the Certification of Teacher Excellence; Foundation for Child Development; GreatSchools.net; Hispanic Council for Reform and Educational Options; National Alliance for Public Charter Schools (formerly Charter School Leadership Council). He has served on the DC Public Charter School Board, which authorizes the development of charter public schools in Washington, DC. He has received public recognition from such reputable national organizations as the Hispanic Council for Reform and Educational Options, and the Education Leaders Council.
